What we do with your details
Short version: we use what you send to answer your enquiry, and that is all. This page says exactly what is collected and by whom.
When you send an enquiry
The form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone or WhatsApp number, a description of what you want to store, the size you have in mind and how you would like us to get back to you. There is an optional note field.
That goes to one place: an email to dukesstorage@gmail.com, which Jane Todd reads. It is used to answer you and to work out what size unit you need. It is not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not passed to anyone else.
The email sits in that inbox the way any other email would. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask and we will delete it.
If the form can’t send for any reason, it offers to open WhatsApp or your email app with your enquiry already written out. Nothing is sent until you press send there yourself.
What the website itself collects
- No cookies. The site does not set any, which is why there is no cookie banner.
- No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded. No third party is told you visited.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, so nothing is fetched from Google or anywhere else while you read.
- The map is off until you ask for it. The location section shows a photograph with a button. Only when you press it does a Google map load, and at that point Google will see the request the way it would on any site with a map.
- WhatsApp, phone and directions links hand you over to WhatsApp, your phone and Google Maps. Once you are there, their privacy terms apply, not ours.
Server logs
Sending the form records that an enquiry was received and whether the email went out. Your name and message are not written to those logs. The host running the site keeps its own access logs, which will include your IP address, as every web server does.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email dukesstorage@gmail.com or ring 076 194 2437 and we will sort it out.

This is a plain-language notice describing how the website behaves, not legal advice. Duke’s Storage should have it checked against POPIA, and against how enquiries are handled once they reach the inbox, before treating it as a formal policy.
